Some events become part of your story, year after year. For us, the FIVI Independent Winegrowers’ Wine Market is one of them.
We’ve been taking part since the very first edition, and this year we’re returning to Bologna for the fifteenth. A lot has changed over the years, but not what makes us want to be there: catching up with old friends, meeting wine lovers from all over Italy, and getting to know fellow winegrowers with whom we can share ideas, experiences and, of course, a few good glasses of wine.
FIVI represents a way of approaching our work that we fully identify with. Being independent winegrowers means taking care of every step ourselves, from vineyard to bottle, and taking responsibility for our choices and for the wine we put on the table. It’s work that involves long days in the vineyard, decisions in the cellar, and a direct relationship with the people who will eventually drink our wines.
That’s also what makes the Wine Market different from so many other fairs: behind every stand there are people, families, places and stories to tell. It’s a chance to taste all kinds of wines, discover local grape varieties and traditions, and meet fellow winegrowers who, each in their own way, try to express the character of the place they come from.
We’ll be bringing our organic wines from the Marche, made from grapes grown in our own vineyards and the result of our family’s day-to-day work. And, as always, we’ll also have our extra virgin olive oil, with the freshly produced 2026 harvest. Another product of our farm that we’re always happy to share with those who stop by.
